Page 87 of the Jul/Aug 2010 edition of Your London Wedding features Yemi Osunkoya (the designer behind the Kosibah label) as one of the experts advising brides to be on the best ways to flatter their figures. In response to a size 14 - 16 bride, Yemi counsels: "To achieve the elegant and modern look you'd like for your wedding, I would advise you to opt for a bespoke gown made from scratch using your measurements."

Kosibah Creations dresses Ms Diane Abbott MP for screening of Play It Again
Diane Abbott MP wore a specially commissioned Kosibah Creations gown when she performed a piano recital at London's St Martin-in-the-Fields church on 7 Dec 2006. Ms Abbott's recital took place during the VSO Christmas Carol concert and was filmed as part of a BBC TV reality show called "Play It Again". The performance will be screened in Spring 2007.

Glamour in Bankside - launch of Kosibah Creations studio
Glamour in Bankside: Yemi Osunkoya, the award winning designer behind the Kosibah Creations label, recently brought a touch of glamour to Bankside, London SE1. Launching his spacious, contemporary atelier in studios near Tate Modern gallery, the Globe Theatre and Zandra Rhodes' Fashion Museum, Yemi hosted a champagne reception and glittering fashion show featuring his 2004 bridal and eveningwear collection. Personalities from the political, diplomatic, fashion and media circles were in attendance including: the Rt. Hon Paul Boateng MP, Minister to the Treasury; his delightful wife, Janet, a client of Kosibah Creations and wearing one of his stunning corset outfits; Mrs Ola Ibitoye representing the wife of the Nigerian High Commissioner; Miss Nigeria UK, Ms Elizabeth Isiarho, amongst others. The bridal collection featured beautifully cut gowns in ivory zibeline, duchesse satin, re-embroidered lace and organza, with details in ruby red diamante and hand crafted jewellery incorporated into the gowns. The theme was Audrey Hepburn meets the Fifties and carried the Kosibah signature corsetry throughout to produce figure enhancing gowns. Kosibah Creations Couture gowns are made to order, by appointment, from the new studios. Accessories such as head pieces, tiaras, jewellery, shoes etc from selected designers are also available from the studio.
Bad Girls wear Kosibah Creations designs for National Television Awards
National Television Awards: 23rd Oct 2001: Kosibah Creations was commissioned by Ms Helen Fraser to create an evening gown to be worn at the awards ceremony. Bad Girls, in which Ms Fraser plays Mrs Hollomsby, was nominated for the Best Drama category. Bad Girls won the award and Ms Fraser, along with other members of the cast, two of whom were wearing Kosibah Creations gowns, went up to collect the award and made the acceptance speech. Ms Fraser later said she felt very special in the Kosibah Creations couture gown.
BBC2 commissions Kosibah Creations to design wedding dress for TV programme
Babyfather BBC2: Kosibah Creations was commissioned by the BBC Drama Department to create a bridal gown for its drama mini-series Babyfather. The two piece gown, worn by Angela Griffen (former Coronation Street and Holby City star)was created to the highest couture standards, which included several fittings for Ms Griffen at the Kosibah Creations studio.The wedding scene was aired on the last episode which went out on Weds October 31st 2001.
